Dear All, Just to let you know we have returned from Steve's funeral in Bangkok, before the service begun the Rabbi explained the basic concept of the Jewish religion and why the body must be buried rather than cremated, the service was in Hebrew but each part was then repeated in English, as you might expect it was a very sad time for all of us there. Over the past few days all of us have expressed their feelings for Steve, loyalty, friendship, generosity, great sense of humour, a perfect father the list goes on, but for me he had one attribute above all others, it is only a small word, he was kind, Steve was the kindest man I have ever had the privilege of knowing, I feel devastated that he has been taken away from us so soon. Stan and Mam.
I can only echo Stan's sentiments, anyone who had met Steve would know what a rare and exceptional human being he was in any part of the world let alone in a place such as Pattaya. Thank you for being a part of our lives. |
