Que pa so amigo's, today we have 2 scribes but mine is only an intro to Sir Walt Disney jr. The day started off early as I checked the Scandi bar for our new signs directing us to the pick-up & sign-up location. Only saw one on the board but it was hidden as the Scandi crew prepared for our arrival later tonight. Soon the Frog calls me & say's he's at the Friendship mkt. & will get those signs up. Then he tells me "no bus today". The police are using it!!! Holy taco's mun! What we do?? I sms all amigos & tell them to spread the word. It's 2:20 & I 'm the first at the sign-up location, Barbie Doll & Arse-a-holic are the next to arrive. I see a 'song-taew' & attempt to make a deal for 3 trucks to return just before 4:00, they don't come. So (now about 30 of us) hop on 2 trucks along with the help of other drivers, thanks guys. We're off to the a-site. At 4:20 the 'song taew' driver calls & say's "I wait for you". Thai time & a holiday = too late amigo - set laao. Poncho ends here......go Sir Walt Disney…
Once upon a time there were three girls Seaman Swallow, Sun Flower and Tree Frog. And they wanted to make a Monday run. So they asked the Grand Master very nicely if they could do one. He said it would be ok but one of them would have to be very nice to him. They were not sure what he meant by this but, being that they would have the chance to lay a run they agreed. So they went off and found an A site which was very nice with plenty of room.  They then went looking around in the bush to make their run. They had lots of fun going out and reccing the bush, and took a picnic basket with them every time that they went out. So every time they went out they ate lots of food and got a little bit pissed which they liked very much. Then one day one of the three said we have to design a t-shirt. Which made them very excited, and they all phoned home to mum to say that they were designing a shirt design. This was for a big order and lots of their shirts would be sold all around the world. Their mums were also getting excited also thinking of all the extra money that would come in and maybe they could buy some more buffalos. So they all got together one night and started to design their shirt. They new it was Songkran, which meant lots of water. So they designed this shirt with a water theme about water from different parts of the world. And they also had more food and more drink, which always made them very happy. Once they had their shirt finished, which took many weeks because they liked meeting and talking and eating and drinking. Many more times they had to go out and check their run. They wanted it to be a good run. So they had to pack a picnic basket and more drink when they went out. After lots of hard work they finally got to the big day, Monday 18 April 2005. The Songkran Run. Not like last year when not many people turned up. This year 79 people turned up. We had hashers from other parts of the world also. (Word had got out the three hares were going to be naked for the evening, I am not sure where this information came from, but we were all bitterly disappointed). The Flying Frog called the circle to order and Eminem, the only person who could afford new shoes drank a beer from one of them. The hares Seaman Swallow, Sun Flower and Tree Frog came in on their big day to tell us about the run. White paper and red paint. No it was yellow paint. They were getting a bit nervous on their big day. But off we all went. The hares had provided an even bigger picnic basket than they usually have. This one was huge. They had four big rush mats on the floor. And all the food laid out in the middle. They were also drinking copious amounts of beer, to wash the food down. Rottweiler, Nurse Dick, Ewok, Seaman Swallow, Sun Flower, Tree Frog, three virgin girls and lots of children, were all getting stuck in. While all this was going on the rest of the hash was out running the run. Apart for some hashers who had picked up injuries during the week and could not run today. So they had BLT sandwiches and cold beer. And the first runner in, in 53 minutes was Peler. So we new it was a long run. But eventually everybody came back in. One of the last to come in was Kidney Bean in 1 hour 45 minutes. When the Flying Frog came in, he was in bad shape. He said 'I’m fucked man'. Apparently one of the hares had waited in ambush in the bush, and had her wicked way with our illustrious Grand Master. No wonder he had a smile on his face. In fact he had been abused so much he had to leave the circle early and go home and get some rest. We are not sure which one of the hares was responsible for this crime. Because they had now all changed into their new shirts which looked very nice. And their new design looked like it had sold very well. So at the end of the day. We had had a very good day. With a good run set by our three lovely hares. With a good shirt. Our Grand Master went home with a smile on his face. If you keep the Grand Master happy you can never go wrong. And everyone went home and lived happily ever after.
