Monday is a hashing day and this was a wet one. It was raining heavily as I set out for the A site. I was first to arrive and met the Hares who had just finished laying the paper. They were worried that the paper might be washed away as the area has many gullies which become rivers when it rains, and it was still raining. This was going to be a wet run for sure. The hash finally arrived and we stood around under umbrellas and rain capes, waiting for the GM Flying Frog to 'form a circle'. The circle was duly formed and the GM asked for 'new shoes. There were no new shoes so the GM asked for old shoes instead. These were provided by Wank-king's Wanker. They had many holes and looked to be on their last legs. He drank his down-down and the hares Ringworm, Big Nosed Bastard and Poncho On In to tell us about the run; white paper, red, white and blue checks and off we went in the rain. We were soon running upstream in the first gully. I went about 200 metres up the right-hand fork without seeing any paper, then in case the paper had been washed away, I climbed the bank and found a trail with paper on it, On-On. I was on my own for a while, Calling On-On when I heard Dodic, a real front runner, fast approaching from behind. The next few checks were easy, then at the fourth or fifth I went off paper. This happens quite often to me and I know the area well so I was not worried. I followed a trail for a while, turned left and found an FT. Back on paper! The FRB's were close behind now and it was into the rain-filled gullies and home. It was still raining at the A site so I had a glass or two of Uncle Pervy's excellent home-brew while waiting for the circle.
Circle called by the GM. First on ice were the FRB’s Miserable Cunt, Dodic, Allah's Arsehole, Wank-King and Spaghetti Head. Then we had the raffle, because of the weather there were no tickets sold so it was run tickets only. Dizzy was put on the ice. Among the winners were Sweet Pussy, Knob Marley and Chicken Fucker. Miserable Cunt won the Double Down-Down in the bucket. Then the visitors On-in with Dodic and Soggy on ice. Time for the Bad RA Sir Airhead. He first iced the hares as usual and said that FT's on a Monday run should be no more than 100 metres. I disagreed and got a Down-down in the bucket. I forgot "The RA is always right'! It was adjudged to be a good run. Free Willy, our current Hash Shit was iced and lost his toilet seat. The RA reckoned he would get it back the next time he hares a run. The GM Iced the hares for setting a good run. Dodic on ice and a visitor in the bucket for not wearing a Hash shirt. Poncho was then iced by the bad RA with a Double Down-Down because the raffle numbers are too small and got a toilet seat for lying.
Time for some anniversaries. Midnight Star 150 run mug, Poncho 200 runs today, King Yao-Yao 600runs and last but not least Sir Airhead with 900 runs, I8 years of hashing, a wonderful achievement. He received a 900 run hat, camouflage vest underwear and a pair of socks, well done. 
Time for the good RA Sir chicken Fucker. He iced King Yao Yao and Queen Stella for testing Apple Turnover's new mattress. Something to do with semen stains on it! It was alleged he suffers from impotence and has to tie a pencil to his dick!. Single Cell was now iced with his girlfriend because he is a cheap Charlie. He wouldn't buy his girlfriend a new shirt and gave her a plastic bag to wear instead, Double Down-Down. Bottomless Pit, happy birthday Double Down-down. Spaghetti Head, Mad Cow and Miserable Cunt good guys for drinking the last Down-Downs. Then the hare's song, 'Pubic Hair', followed by the Hash Hymn, led by yours truly and back to Miss Chivas bar for some excellent food. A good run and good fun on a rainy Monday afternoon.
