Well the Flying Frog gave me the honour of being this week’s scribe. GM next time let me know before the run so I can pay attention to the trail. We arrived at a very nice A-site. It was concrete so there were no holes to fall in or weeds to trip over. This is very important after a few beers. The Hares told us about the run but rather than the usual there would be paper hearts on the trail. The hearts would get you a prize at the end of the run. Off we go! Being a fat older man I was soon in the middle of the pack. I missed some of the very lovely trail because I did a few short cuts. If I knew I would be the scribe I would have done the whole trail. I did run into many other Hashers doing the same. It was scenic and had parts of the trail for running, climbing, and short cutting. A nice surprise just before the finish there were the lovely Hares passing out chocolates. At the A site the Hares had the usual fruits and chips but they also supplied some food. Good work I really like food and my belly shows it. Circle time and of course late comers were out on the ice. Raffle time and I didn’t win again. After the raffle the Bad Man was iced. He was given a last chance card. Behave at the on-on bars or be banned from the Hash. GM calls in Chicken Legs and awards her with a proper apron for cooking. Next Jello Butt is iced for not bringing enough raffle tickets. That’s why I didn’t win. Next Tadpole and Miss Chivas pass out the prizes for the Hashers that found the hearts. Nice prizes! Sir Airhead takes the circle. He calls in Ewok. It’s her 21st birthday again. Redundant Seaman brings her a gift. I couldn’t see what it was all I know is it was cylinder shaped. Next comes in Frog and Steamy Lump. Frog forgot Hash signs and Steamy Lump for eating in Dr. Thrush’s car. It seems he was eating a puff and left half of it on the floor. He also left a raw chicken burger there. GM takes the circle and takes care of the returnees, visitors and anniversaries. Next in is the good RA “Steamy Lump”. He calls in Sir Airhead, Dr. Thrush, Sir Fester, Miserable C_ _t and the bucket for Arse-holeo. While they’re on the ice he has Seaman Swallow, Tadpole and Miss Chivas in to judge the sexy head contest. It didn’t take long. The winner was Sir Fester. Beer Police on ice and Ewok receive the title of honorary Beer Police. She is given a Beer Police vest. Next the Norwegians Karamba and Oddvar are iced. It had something to do with whaling. Bring in the Aussies Dizzy, Lone Wolf, Arse-holeo and one Kiwi Ewe F_ _ _er. It seems one of the large hospitals in Australia is having an outbreak of Mad Cow. They were operating without properly cleaning their instruments. Ewe F_ _ _er was given a surgical gear and sterilized all the Aussies. GMs circle again and he calls in Dr. Dick because it’s his birthday. Wank-Kings Wanker is called in because he forgot to pay for the run. Sir Chicken F_ _ _er calls in the King and Queen and other couples for Valentines Day. Next T4 in and his girlfriend, SCF sings one of my favourites Brown Card Ken. Next the Hares sit on the ice and SCF sings a song for them. Seaman stains in to finish up the circle with the Hash Hymn. No we didn’t go home because the beer truck stayed open for the holiday. I hope I didn’t miss anyone or anything. My brain has a little trouble concentrating since I retired.
