RUN # 1164 Monday June 26th, 2006 MISS DIRECTIONS: Sign up at The Scandinavia Bar, Beach road, Pattaya (Between Soi Yamoto & Soi 13) 15:00-15:50 or go directly to the A-site: Please have correct change. Bus leaves from outside Lek Hotel, 2nd Road at 16:00 (4 PM) Hares: SPAGHETTI HEAD & SINGAPORE SUCKER Happy Hour at: Classroom 2	Directions to the A-site: Drive south on Sukhumvit for 20Km from Klang. (approx 300 meters past the Ban Saray crossover walkway). Turn left (sign for Buraran Estates). Drive up the road for 2.2K and turn right onto the gravel road (large yellow sign on electric pole). Follow gravel road for approximately 600 meters to A-site on the right. Please drive slow and park on gravel road!

FINI THE FAGGOT, TADPOLE & PONCHO THE PERVERT

Being appointed scribe in the midst of uncountable parental and spousal duties is always a challenge; but adding a demented alcohol infused memory leaves me recalling the evening with fuzzy images and shadows mixed with bellows of laughter. The last failed battery image was of "Happy Hour". Four hash shirts squeezed into a Soi Post Office pad-Thai stall, beers from 7-11. There we were: Fireman, Fire in the Hole, Singapore Sucker, and me revelling to the sounds of motorcycles, touts, screeching poo-yings, and deafening drums from disco doors. Relegated to the back of the bus I was pleasantly perched to observe no whines of "slash time"; only accolades for our Monday Hash from those unlucky to be visitors or virgins. The circle was "crackers" with both R A's at the top of their game. There is "ICE" in justICE as sinners soon learned.
The theme of the run was a bit obscure but it seemed to be a follow up of Sao Paulo's Gay Pride Day of a week ago in which millions participated. It was great to see us doing our part. Sir Airhead called it "Brokeback Monday"; Sir CF's retort, "Blowback Mountain" Take your pick Fini or Poncho; we'll leave Tadpole out of this one; BUT! She, and Ewok, and Miss Chivas, and friends made their musical debut to the delight of the crowd. When asked the groups name, the spokesperson of these impending superstars, Ewok replied, "The Lesbian Club"! Taking one step back and visually conjuring up the possibilities, but realizing the hearing deficit that comes with age, I repeated the question. Indeed Gay Pride and emptying the closet had overcome the Hash - from every direction. And to think that just a short time before this same "Lesbian Club" was surfing Sleeping On Booty, sliding across his nose as they left the ice seemingly carrying on the tradition of pursuing someone somewhat younger.
Following what seemed to be an abundance of Rule 6 infractions; and the suggestion by the "Bad" R.A. that it might even be abolished; Mom and the Gang frolicked in a timely rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody. Brilliant as it was, the new kids on the block, the "Lesbian Group" stepped forward with their song; decibel duelling. Like "Purple Rain".
And to think this all started with! "You’re the Man!' You're the Man!" Flying Frogs subtle way of selecting a scribe. "You're the Man!" "You’re the Man!"
