WAKING THE DEAD

Monday again, but no rain this week, all aboard the trusty old bus and off to the A-site to join the rich Hashers with their own transport. A Familiar well used A-site, but why not, its just about perfect, close to town, scenic and a shelter if needed. Circle called and one pair of new shoes and one pair of just ridiculous shoes (FREE WILLY of course, who else). Off we go, soon coming across the first check, carefully placed in a grave yard, some Hashers complained but I thought it was ‘dead’ exciting. The run in my opinion was very well laid, lots of loops and clever checks ensured most of the pack stayed well grouped together. F#*K THE TRUTH first in, in approx 45 mins closely followed by myself, BNB, RUSTY RINGHOLE and TADPOLE (what a girl) The rest of the pack soon followed.
After the usual social gathering the circle was formed, surprisingly before it was even called, good to see eager Hashers. GM deals with latecomer PINKYS LICKER although he is briefly interrupted by a pole-vaulting SIR CHICKEN F#*R (strange but funny, is there no end to this man’s talents).
The ever lovely SEAMAN SWALLOW conducts raffle and uses her power to ice MISERABLE CUNT and SEAMAN STAINS for talking, too many winners to mention; only BARBIE DOLL she always wins. GM FLYING FROG ices VV and ARSE-A-HOLIC for falling down a pit (obviously drunk, that sparkling water is lethal). All Jungle Hashers iced, not a bad bunch really and if you have nothing better to do on the first and third Sunday each month, I recommend giving it a try.
SIR AIRHEAD’s circle quickly arrives at the conclusion it was a good run, well done Hares. He then starts a vote on whether Dirt Shirts should be worn on the Monday Hash? Thankfully due to the fact the ringleader TADPOLE had fled the scene, the protest died despite an objection from FREE WILLY who sadly can only dream of wearing a Dirt shirt these days. NURSE FINI on in and takes the circle with help of blood donors SIR AIRHEAD and EWOK. A bunch of surrogates including VV, SPAGHETTI HEAD and BAZIL form the European Tour de France team. Down downs for DOG LICK ITS DICK as being a leaver and SPEEDY, as a lying leaver. A few virgins and a lot of visitors, mainly for some reason Arabs (slightly puzzling?) RAMBO WW2 gets his 200^th Run Mug and MISERABLE CUNT did his 10^th Hare.
SIR CHICKEN F#*R takes the circle to insult myself and others including T4, BNB and wants to know why we are all not so good looking as he is (what ever). The entertainment went on longer then the two sheets of paper I was giving and to think I would remember anything today was foolish as I do enjoy a Tiger or two. Hopefully, we left the dead to rest in peace after the Hash Hymn and returned to Classroom 2 to crawl into the night.
