Correcting Run Records Policy

To encourage hashers, and hash virgins, to take responsibility for ensuring they have received proper run credit, the deadline for reporting missed runs will be Thursday evening following a run. As run stats are posted to the website by noon of the Tuesday following the run, hashers will have 2 1/2 days to review the run stats to confirm they've received credit for the run just held.

The reason for the Thursday deadline is we close out the run accounts and run records for a run on Friday mornings. Corrections entered before Friday help ensure we have an accurate accounting of the run.

It is hoped with this policy in place the number of hashers that pay the signup fee and walk away before having their name marked off on the signup list will be reduced. This will also eliminate the cases where a hasher comes to us weeks, months, or even years later asking to correct a missed run in the records.

Missed runs can be reported via email to the Webmaster.

It is always good returning to Pattaya to enjoy running with the Pattaya H3. It was a short drive to the A site and a great location for a run, plenty of parking and a good area for the circle. Before we got the hares in to talk about the trail many NEW SHOES where christened, which is always good to see. MAD COW got away with it again and was heard out on the trail to say that his NEW SHOES had great grip.
The CABBAGE family where the hares and we where told it was marked with gay paper and red checks. It was a well set run with clearly marked checks and for us back runners there where a couple of places where we could short cut and catch up with the pack again. A few small hills added interest to the trail and it was the right length of walk for me anyway. A50 minute trail is a good length for us walking wounded and although you FRB's might think 30 minutes is too short a run, remember it is not a race but hash is all about having fun. A well set trail and a good A site has to make this run the BEST of the year SO FAR.
What can I say about the circle? or what can I remember about it is best to say. SIR CHICKEN F****R was the stand in GM for the evening and iced the hares to start off the evening. SEAMAN SWALLOW as usual was the raffle mistress and had many talkers on the ice whilst she had the circle.
SCF had found a lost hat so the loser was iced, and the hat was washed in the bucket then dropped into the mud, good to see.
SIR AIRHEADthen had the circleand as always he started off with icing the hares and asked for comments on the run.Then AIRHEAD had a few Aussie visitors DAGO DINGO and KANGAROOTA plus their virgins on the ice. Two of the virgins where named later in the evening, so welcome to the hash WHITE BUTT and CHUCKY.Airhead informed us that WB has the whitest arse he has ever seen and that CHUCKY threw up on the stage in the TQ. He also got the Aussie spinners out again and they where worse than last week. Come on guys you need more practice, remember you are in the Northern Hemisphere in Pattaya so try spining the oppisite direction as to back home.
TINKERBELL had a name change to RATCATCHER and the story was told how the name change came around. We never did get to hear if she ate the rat though, so maybe you can find out next week.
NORIEGA took the circle and brought the virgin girls out to show them that he has at last had his CUT AND TUCK, so girls and guys look out for Noriega as he will be back in Pattaya working.He gave us his song about the British sailor and kept the circle well entertained. We also got some skin from the two virgins and I have to agree with AIRHEAD that the name WHITE BUTT was well chosen. As soon as the girls where off the ice MAD COW raced in to lick the spot.
Your scribe BB then needed 10 girls for his song, but as he could only find 8 he got NORIEGA and PRESTON PETE to make up the number. Of course he iced them all twice because they got off the ice before being told they could leave, when will they learn?
SCF then had the circle again and VV was called out and we where told that it was VV's 400th run. Last week he was awarded a down down forharing 70 times.
Many beers and laughs during the night saw the circle come to an end with the CABBAGE family doing a song about a chook with no eggs and an elephant? Great song and even the younger cabbage (who should be renamed SPROUT) was there with his guitar to add to the evening.
The hash song brought the circle to the close and then it was on to the bus for the ON ON bar at THE CLASSROOM in soi 2. Was good to see a lot of hashers return to the ON ON bar and support them. A great feed of spaggHetti and a few more beers made run 1244 an excellent day out, and I look forward to my next run with you guys.
