Well here we are again, all ready for the last run of the year, and what a year its been. Full of hash friends popping off. Old Farts being allowed to sit in the circle, runs being rained off. I think we had more wet runs this year than ever before, but this week it was great, nearly 100 hashers turned up. A great A site, quite a way from town but worth it, after a long chit chat period and sign ups being completed, the form a circle was called by this weeks stand in GM Sir CF. New shoes were dealt with in the usual manner, the wearers given a down down, the hares gave us the low down, of the run, and off we went. Usual tapioca, streams etc etc under the highway and along the 331 in the woods back under again and back to the A site. Think about 50 min for front runners and about a hour for us old farts, that walk most of the way. After another long chit chat period CF called the circle and we were in for another entertaining evening, the raffle, leavers, returners, virgins (not too many). Then Seaman Stains came in and painted a gloomy picture of next years Pattaya Hash, due to the lack of interest in positions on the mismanagement, could this be the end of the most famous hash in the world?
I DONT THINK SO!!!
Anyway, a few more beers and it was time for the Hash Hymn. And a long ride back to town for more jolly ups to see the New Year in. A personal thank you to all the mismanagement for your efforts and making my Mondays something to look forward to, hope to see you all next year.
On On
