Correcting Run Records Policy

To encourage hashers, and hash virgins, to take responsibility for ensuring they have received proper run credit, the deadline for reporting missed runs will be Thursday evening following a run. As run stats are posted to the website by noon of the Tuesday following the run, hashers will have 2 1/2 days to review the run stats to confirm they've received credit for the run just held.

The reason for the Thursday deadline is we close out the run accounts and run records for a run on Friday mornings. Corrections entered before Friday help ensure we have an accurate accounting of the run.

It is hoped with this policy in place the number of hashers that pay the signup fee and walk away before having their name marked off on the signup list will be reduced. This will also eliminate the cases where a hasher comes to us weeks, months, or even years later asking to correct a missed run in the records.

Missed runs can be reported via email to the Webmaster.

RUN STORY
The used and abused assembled at the recently preferred Dog Family hashing area adjacent to Highway 36. First class A site, we all thought until the first concrete delivery truck was driven past to the neighboring building site.
Presently, Thailand seems intent in covering everything in concrete and black top with the bits in between planted with cassava.
No hash bus today and two baht buses have been employed to ferry the hashers from Pattaya and with smaller numbers than normal this is an easy task and should have saved the hash some money!
“Form a circle” boomed the GM, and the expectant pack shambled towards the noisy person.  New shoes are order of the day – Bam Bam seems has never learned to scuff up new shoes prior the hash and is picked out immediately to suffer at the hand of Dr Chang.
Mr Dog explains the paper is white and check are red and even before he has finished speaking G.I. Joe, F…The Truth and Sheikh Me Me are “racing” to see who can attain dominance at the first check. Hash justice is seen to work and they all check in the wrong direction and Greyhound calls ONON right - up the track and past a charcoal works and onto the second check in the middle of a moonscape. Plenty of options here but the ON ON is call straight through and we run to the end and veer left over a small stream and onto the third check.   Lots of looking here or should I say lack of calling stalls the pack at both this check and the following one. Perhaps some of the newer hashers need a lesson in how to call on trail and to break checks. Sheikh Me Me and the scribe were left for dead by the pack at one check. This check remained forlorn and unbroken when we returned…and there was not a hasher in sight or an ONON to be heard!!
The last check caused a few problems and could be described as the Dog (almost) disappearing up his own bottom. The FRB’s checking left found the wrong end of a false trail and ran until the paper stopped, while other FRB’s checking right found a false trail which we can only conclude was from the previous check ??   ON ON finally called left by Squeeze my Tube and Mrs Head and the scribe hashing with his head not his feet performed a shortcut through the Euco plantation to become an FRB for the short run back to the A site.   A very enjoyable 50 mins on trail. There were sufficient checks to keep the pack together and make it a sociable event and not a training run. Even Are You Sure was with the pack.  Well done the hares.
The second circle was soon called by the GM.  Flipper quickly and efficiently conducted the raffle. Visitors, Virgins and Leavers were all offered down downs. The obsequies were declared and The Emperor took center stage and then iced hashers from the “Upper States” plus a Father and Son duet masquerading as British. One of which had unfortunate bowel movements while on the hash. Is he responsible for the missing trail paper?
G.M. Spaghetti Head introduced the new incoming GM of the Pattaya Jungle Monkey Hash together with new Joint GM Sheikh Me Me. Changes will occur on 18th October.
Barnacle Bollox and Chicken F…er entertained the hash with various song renditions and Sheikh Me Me I am sure entertained accordingly. However, a prior hash appointment necessitated the scribe having to depart before the “bitter end”.
