Correcting Run Records Policy

To encourage hashers, and hash virgins, to take responsibility for ensuring they have received proper run credit, the deadline for reporting missed runs will be Thursday evening following a run. As run stats are posted to the website by noon of the Tuesday following the run, hashers will have 2 1/2 days to review the run stats to confirm they've received credit for the run just held.

The reason for the Thursday deadline is we close out the run accounts and run records for a run on Friday mornings. Corrections entered before Friday help ensure we have an accurate accounting of the run.

It is hoped with this policy in place the number of hashers that pay the signup fee and walk away before having their name marked off on the signup list will be reduced. This will also eliminate the cases where a hasher comes to us weeks, months, or even years later asking to correct a missed run in the records.

Missed runs can be reported via email to the Webmaster.

HIS MAJESTY'S COMMEMORATIVE WALK

With the passing of His Majesty King BHUMIBOL ADULYADEJ, Pattaya H3 decided to cancel the run.

Myself and Wank-King's Wanker went to the Buffalo Bar Carpark on Monday in case some of our Hashers were unaware that the run had been canceled.

Arriving there we are surprised to see 18 Hashers looking forward to the day. So we decided to do a Commemorative Walk around Pattaya.

After some refreshments in the Buffalo Bar we set off on a grueling six kilometer walk. After dodging cars and motorbikes we made it to Soi 14 in Chaloem Phrakiat when a massive storm hit so the two hares made a plan to run for cover at the M Club, a favorite on on bar.

Some of the Hashers waded through the flooded Soi and made it to the bar, the rest of us took shelter under a awning and waited for the rain to stop.

After the rain stopped we then waded through knee deep water and made it to the M Club. Arriving there we had some refreshments as a lot of the Hashers were exhausted.

Once the flood waters went down a few of us decided to head on back to the Buffalo Bar. heading back through the flooded Soi's VV was lucky enough to catch a fish! Amazing what comes out of the drain system.

We made it back to the starting point and said our goodbyes and now we all look forward to next Monday's Octoberfest Run.
