Recorded By: The Wizard

Apologies: Nil

Minutes Of Last Meeting: Read and approved. No matters arising.

Bookie Report: PS presented a brief report on the finances which show an expenditure of around 27,000 b (2 x clean ups and beer truck expenses) in the period since the lockdown began, with no income, however the club remains in good financial shape. With 2 of the 3 signatories for the main savings account not in Pattaya we are unable to access that account at the moment. This should not present any problems and should be resolved fairly soon.

Webmaster Report: PS reported that the website is fully functional and in good shape. Recent pages have been added chronicling some of the history of the club thanks to Paprika Smiley for providing so many photos.

Brew Master Report: Repairs have been carried out on the truck and the insurance paid since the last meeting. VV has plenty of stock, which is all still in date. No issues.

Hare Raiser Report: With the fairly sudden resumption in hashing, the Hare line was understandably empty, but volunteers have been quickly found for the next 2 runs. More volunteers are required to populate the hare line for the coming months.

Rags Report: A request for someone to help with rags was made, and a discussion about how to reduce the workload for any future rags master ensued. Sour KrautBC still has our stock and cash float, SP volunteered to collect the rags from SKBC and PS is prepared to look after excess stock in the short term. The general consensus was that a minimal volume of stock is required at runs currently, due to the lack of visitors and virgins, who comprise most of our customers. Future consideration will be given to facilitating an online ordering function.

On-on Bars Report: SP to confirm that I rovers are happy to carry on as an On On bar, after which he will produce a rota. The question was asked in general terms about having a 4th On On bar, as we have had previously. This would be dependant on several factors not least of which would be the numbers attending on a regular basis. We decided to stick with 3 bars in the rota last year as numbers were down and we wanted to give value to the bars that continue to support us.

Upcoming Special Runs:
• Having already communicated with the committee prior to the meeting, there was the formality of a vote to resume hashing, which was carried unanimously.
• Xmas Run, 20th Dec – traditions will be maintained as far as possible, gifts for women and children, and Scar will supply mulled wine. Beetroot Head kindly volunteered to purchase and wrap the Xmas gifts, advised on numbers and costs so as to stick within a budget of 6,000 baht. Blow Lewinski volunteered to hare this run.
• Veterans Run – this was postponed earlier in the year. Further consideration to be given to rescheduling it early in the coming year.
• VV mentioned upcoming Belgian and French runs, dates and details to be confirmed.

Other Business:
• Scar gained the approval of the committee for a Xmas shirt. However due to our large stock f rags and inability to sell very much, this shirt will be produced as a private enterprise. Scar will take orders and procure the appropriate number of shirts, none will go to rags.
• SP agreed to bring a table for use by sign ups.
• DL informed us that he had a sum of cash collected by the ‘Tuesday Nosh Crowd’ to put towards the sponsored hair cut by TW.
• TW had been organising a two-day trip to Bangkok hashes on 12 and 13 Dec. Due to the resumption of our own hash he will not be attending or making any further arrangements. Anybody wishing to still make the trip to liaise with Jack Wow.
• TW began the process of putting together a committee for next year, which will voted in next month. Volunteers were sought to come forward for all positions, but without any immediate response. TW emphasised the need for a strong and full committee (of 11), to avoid the situation of a small quorum of committee members making all decisions.
• Mount Me enquired as to whether several non-members ‘ The Tuesday Nosh Crowd’ ,that have been utilising the Nosh trails over the last 8 months would have access to the same once normal hashing is resumed. TW explained that Nosh was an alternative to our regular hash, and as such no Nosh trails would be laid. Of course, all the individuals concerned are welcome to attend hash, as per normal.
• TW thanked everyone for their attendance and attention and looked forward to Hashing again on Monday.
• Addendum: The sponsored shave and haircut by TW on behalf of the Take Care Kids Foundation raised 20,080 in Nicky’s, with over 20,000 in pledges still to be collected. Thanks to everyone that made a contribution.

Next Meeting Date: Wednesday, 05 January, 2022 @ Nicky's Bar And Guesthouse

Meeting Closed: 17.00 hrs

Closing Line Meeting closed and looking forward for another great month of hashing.
