PH3 Mismanagement Meeting Minutes

Wednesday, 4 May 2022

Meeting Location: Nicky's Bar And Guesthouse

Attendance: The Wizard, Sperm Polluter, YMCA, Pussy Snatcher, Mount Me, VV, Unstable Load, Arse von Hole, Dirt Looney, Happy Survivor, Shit Lips, Leg Over, Wild Wolf, Liberace, Something Stupid, Spastic Whore King, Crap Thai, Caroline, Blow Lewinski, Kevin Braun

Recorded By: The Wizard

Apologies: Nil

Minutes Of Last Meeting: Read and approved. No matters arising.

Bookie Report: No extraordinary expenses since the last meeting but some natural fluctuations in the cash flow; hence PS has introduced a set of rolling average figures (over the previous 10 weeks) to help give a clearer idea of how we are doing financially and to identify any significant trends. This month has seen a steady increase in cash and assets.

Webmaster Report: The website is in great shape, no issues or concerns, however it was agreed that for the foreseeable future trail maps will not be published for the general public, but will be available on request to members. With the update of the database complete members were requested to highlight any factual errors that they become aware of as they can now be easily rectified.

Brew Master Report: The false floor of the beer truck has been damaged, through wear and tear and needs to be replaced, also some welding is required to maintain the tailgate table. Other than that, everything is in good shape, stock levels are good.

Hare Raiser Report: July’s hareline has just been opened and one spot has already been taken. May is full and there are 3 spaces available in June. Hares are volunteering freely, no issues to report.

Rags Report: With the absence of Antique, we are still looking for a volunteer to look after Rags. In the interim, Burley Chassis has volunteered to attend the next few runs to sell Rags, and one of the baht buses will collect them and return them to the home of Pussy Snatcher. Making rags available for online sales was discussed and PS will investigate the logistics of adding a page to the website, but a volunteer will be required to take on online sales if they happen.

On-on Bars Report: No issues, all bars are well attended.

Upcoming Special Runs: A request from the Norwegian Run hares for 4 free hare and 5 hare credits was approved as they will be supplying food for the run. VV requested that as a one off we change our On On bar for the Betty Boop Run to the venue that will be our A site for the day. Approved by the committee. Happy Survivor requested 5 hare credits be granted for the May 23rd run, but with no special reason or justification this was denied.

Other Business:
• DL advised that Mount Me has agreed to take circle notes on the next run whilst DL is a hare, we still need some-one to take on this role on a permanent basis. DL further added that due to our recent difficulty in finding scribes, the scribe report has no minimum standard and can be an individual’s interpretation of events – you are allowed, even encouraged to be imaginative with the report.
• Wild Wolf requested permission to advertise his upcoming Hash Bash event in Pattaya on our Facebook page, approved.
• SP reported that photos of GI Joe in hospital were nothing to be concerned about, it was a routine check up and nothing to do with him being lost on trail the day before!
• PS proposed that due to some problems of quality with shirts from Glob Sub that we revert to using Pattaya Print Space as our shirt supplier, UL added that Glob Sub did not want to do our individual award shirts either. Carried unanimously by the committee.
• PS proposed a PH3 BYO booze cruise for May 21st, which is election day in Pattaya. Maximum number of sign-ups 40, at 100 baht pp. PH3 to pay the excess for the hire of the boat. Unanimous approval from the committee. PS will take care of logistics.
• Liberace said he would be happy to assist with the sign-ups and collection of cash again, we will integrate him into the team.
• TW noted that bars in Pattaya are now officially open till 12 midnight, allowing us to resume our summer schedule timings. A brief discussion resulted in the committee deciding to stick to the winter schedule all year round (last bus from the Buffalo bar at 15.00 hrs)
• TW thanked everyone for their attendance and contributions.
