Minutes Of Last Meeting: Read and approved. No matters arising.

Bookie Report: PS reported that the finances are in good shape and despite the cost of the Betty Boop run in June cash and assets are greater than at the end of last year. No concerns at this time.

Webmaster Report: The website is in great shape, everything is working well. Generally, photos, stats and circle notes from the run are published by noon on Tuesday – which may be of use to the scribe if they have difficulty remembering events from the day. Great work from the web team.

Brew Master Report: In the absence of VV, DL reported that the trucks wipers are not working and that the board that acts as a false bottom for the bed of the truck has collapsed. Temporary repairs have been made but a proper replacement will be sought upon VVs return next week. DL advised that should there be a delay in VVs return he would be prepared to carry on driving the truck for another week.

Hare Raiser Report: TW reported that Septembers Hareline was open. There is still a vacancy for hares on July 18th – a request for hares to step forward will be made on social media.

Rags Report: SFTG told us that the new generic shirts had proven to be popular and that it would be likely that we would need to restock again in a few weeks. Sales are generally good and the system of transporting the rags is working well. A new shirt design is in progress, MM expressed an interest in creating a design for future use.

On-on Bars Report: We had our first visit to June’s Cocktail bar in the month; the general consensus of opinion was that it was a success – a good atmosphere with good food encouraging many to stay later than expected. However, our last trip to Nicky’s was not well attended and several members left before the food was ready, and nearly everybody else left after eating. We will discuss with Nicky’s to determine their willingness to continue should this become the norm.

Upcoming Special Runs: TW led a discussion about the upcoming Veteran’s Day Run (first week of September) regarding the eligibility criteria (which is on the website) and the possibility of continuing the customary tradition of gifts to those that qualify, as well as them having a free run on the day. TW asked for suggestions for suitable gifts and asked those with ideas to forward them via email. A committee decision will need to be made before the next meeting. It was suggested by MM that some announcements ref Vets Day be made in the circle as many new members are not familiar with the tradition.

Other Business:
• TW proposed adding a Full Moon run to our calendar, on 12th August, which is the date of a full moon. Voted for unanimously. TW will hare, and MM volunteered to assist. Other details to be announced in due course. Information will be published ASAP to avoid any possible conflict with other events.
• Next TW suggested that in the absence of recent similar events that we hold a Xmas beach party. Details to be discussed and confirmed at the next meeting as there was unanimous support for the idea.
• TW asked for views on holding a weekend full of hash events to celebrate our 2000th run, next June. Although some time away it was considered prudent to discuss now. There was full support for the concept and recommendations were made that a sub-committee be formed to deal with the logistics of holding such an event. We will make a formal proposal to move forward with these plans at the next meeting.
• HS requested 5 hare credits for July 25th as the hares will be supplying food. 5 credits and 4 free runs approved.
• DL advised that it is Sir Spaghetti Head’s birthday in the coming week. Any acknowledgement next run should be done either in the first circle or first business of the second circle, as he usually departs early.
• PS asked for agreement to resume publishing trail and a site details on the website after a run. Agreed.
• PS reminded everyone that if they are only using the baht bus for the trip home it is necessary to let GI Joe or Lady Squeeze My Tubes in advance. Two people failed to do so on the last run, making the homeward buses overcrowded.
• PS asked that if anyone wanted to bring outsized bags or boxes on the baht bus when travelling to runs that prior notice would be of benefit. BL responded by explaining why he brought a large box to the last run.
