Minutes Of Last Meeting: Read and approved. No matters arising.

Bookie Report: The financial report for the month was good, despite some extraordinary expenses over the last 4 weeks, the overall cash and assets balance remains constant, Rags and Raffle contributing to our financial solidarity.

Webmaster Report: An additional service has been activated; when there is a potential clash of A sites, hares will be notified by email, to mitigate any problems with trails inadvertently crossing over etc. Another excellent innovation from the Webmaster. The website is in tip top condition, with no issues at all.

Brew Master Report:
• VV reported on the condition of the truck; the routine service is due this month, plus the batteries will be checked as they are quite old and there was a small problem with starting the truck once a few weeks ago. In addition, VV will procure a quote for some necessary painting on the bodywork and present it to the meeting next month, and try to fix the false floor which is in poor repair.

Hare Raiser Report: The hare line for September is open and a couple of spots were taken immediately, but there are still a couple of opportunities to hare in August. The upcoming Virgin Hare Run on 22/7 has attracted 3 virgin hares who will be led by TW.

Rags Report: SS presented his customary detailed report on sales for the month, which after an influx of new stock have improved to more regular levels. A new shirt has been ordered to supplement the stock, plus a new design for a further shirt is in the preparation stage. It was agreed that we should trial a singlet – as a result of several requests, a design will be forwarded for approval and 25 singlets will be ordered. Additionally, we are going to trial running dresses – HS to take preorders, and if sufficient we will order some and sell at cost price, with a view to adding them to our normal range of items in the future. TW suggested procuring towels as our traditional give away for the Veteran’s Day Run and will investigate costs etc and report back to the committee via email.

On-on Bars Report: All is going well, no issues to report, but it may be prudent to consider returning to 4 bars for the high season. No action at this time.

Other Business:
• VV asked on behalf of Colonel Cornhole whether his upcoming award shirt would be available before he returns to Europe in 2 weeks, unfortunately not possible due to the turnaround time from the shirt factory.
• DL informed us that the large Take Care Kids collection jar in Nicky’s had just been emptied and counted, c 13,500 baht had been collected. Thanks to all who contributed and special thanks to DL for coordinating the collections all year. DL also added that photographs of A sites are now included in the Next Run details on the website.
• After 2 incidents in recent weeks where baht buses have been pulled over and occupants fined by the highway police for drinking/smoking in the buses a discussion regarding our course of action took place. Ultimately, it is quite clear that PH3 does not permit smoking on any baht buses – and at this time, those who choose to drink alcohol on buses do so at their own peril; PH3 will take no responsibility. However, EVERYONE has the responsibility to ensure that behaviour in the baht buses, especially on the return journey should not draw attention to us. Singing and shouting out of the buses should be actively discouraged at all times. Those who fail to behave appropriately will be censured and if there are any further incidents involving the police, it is highly probable that we will make the decision to ban drinking on the baht buses completely.
