Minutes Of Last Meeting: Read and approved. No matters arising.

Bookie Report: Finances remain exceedingly healthy to such an extent that we should be looking at ways to increase our spending for the benefit of the club – more sponsored events, free food at runs to be considered in coming weeks. However, the upcoming low season generally sees a rise in expenditure against income especially so on Betty Boop and Vets Day runs.

Webmaster Report: Despite occasional problems behind the scenes, which are resolved without fuss, the website is still in tip top shape, and for those interested a Scribe Count is now easily accessible online.

Brew Master Report:
• Tax has been paid for the beer truck and VV once again is holding the green book.
• Structural repairs to the truck that have been on hold for some time, are now considered urgent, as is the replacement of the cracked windshield. VV and Tan to coordinate effecting repairs ASAP after Songkran.

Hare Raiser Report:
• FM spoke on behalf of the HR; there are many open slots available after the next few runs and remedial action is required at the earliest opportunity (EDIT – Since the meeting the HR has acquired several hares to fill the slots).
• TW reminded all that the hare line opens on the first of each month for the next set of runs – which is the 3rd next month i.e. April 1st, hare line opens for June.

Rags Report: Shirt sales are inconsistent week by week, with no obvious correlation between the number of visitors and virgins attending, however the pop Art shirt has proven to be very popular. Awards are up to date. SS requested a new design for after Songkran.

On-on Bars Report: All is well with our current selection of On On bars, special thanks to Crackers who continue to exceed our expectations when we visit, and thanks to Kubla and Sports Bar for their continuing support, it is much appreciated.

Upcoming Special Runs:
• Songkran Run – 6 hares, free food, agreed to give 6 hares free runs and 6 hare credits
• St Georges Day Run – hares to provide extra snacks (Thus no sandwiches from VV) EDIT – since the meeting the hares have announced they will supply free food on the run.

Other Business:
• YMCA told us he had a large quantity of paper available should anyone need it for shredding etc.
• VV told us that Smokey Trucky Fucky was back in Thailand, but his health is fading fast. VV was asked to pass on our best wishes and thoughts to STF.
• PS informed us that baht buses in the city have put their price up to 15 baht, we should not be surprised if our drivers seek an increase in their fares too.
• LO asked that proceeds from raffle on the Betty Boop Run go to Take Care Kids (as they did last year) and that members be encouraged to donate some prizes for the raffle on that day; agreed.
• TW commented that there had been positive feedback reference adding the scribe report and a selection of the week’s photos to the Facebook page, and so the practice will continue.
• TW led a discussion on the merits of further incentivising hares with extra free runs, however there were many points of view and implications that had not been fully considered, so it was agreed to have further informal discussions through the month and revisit the matter at the next meeting.
