La course Paris-Dakkar (aka Le Dirt Looney Désert du Sahara Walk)
The French Connection a organisé un spectacle spectaculaire courir à travers le sable et le tapioca
The run was in keeping with the theme of course 90% on sand – some of it nicely filling our shoes as we sank into the special holes the hares had found. Kindly the RA had arranged for some high cloud cover – so itw as a little cooler than normal for this part of sub-Saharan Pattaya.
The trails were well marked and for the first 4km or so we were nicely held together with the effective checks doing thier job.
The Walk/Run split appeared and as Mr Bean and I were discussing international hashing variants with virgin hasher (just) Bob, we decided best to play safe and take the Walk – so our astonishment Dirt Looney joins us – quel honneur ! It would seem that it’s running that gives Dirt Looney Tourette Syndrome as he was really funny and enjoyable company with us on the Walk.
A drinks stop at 5km was most welcome and then the checkered flag makred the On In.
FRB’s Sperm Polluter and Fleece Lifter had a photo finish – but SP was quick to gobble down a banana while FL revelled in his victory. VV delivered on his delicious sausage fest – what incredible effort to put in this week : PH3, Le Swamp et Le Monkey !! Merci beaucoup !!
The Wizard (GM) led a very lively circle and thanks for modelling the Lanna Bush 10th Anniversary towel produced by Crap Thai. The Raffle at last ended with nil points for Belly Dancer – which was a bit of a relief as I’ve been exceptionally blessed at PH3 in times past.
Scar with 2T’s turns into a raging wolf in the circle as is well known and he was quick to send SKC into the bucket for forgetting his name and icing The Wizard for some allegedly disruptive behavior. Better them than me !!
Scar then moved on to namings :
Supervigins Teeny Virgin son -> now known as Mamasan’s Big Boy
June (of Cocktails Bar fame) -> now known as Cock Tail
Room Boy (various Chinese GM-ships) & Belly Dancer in for spotting a wolf in Scar’s back garden in Norway.
The Wizard called in Dirt Looney, Marko (Budapest) and Zak in for Wanker of the Week award – Dirt Looney won by a massive country WALK for getting confused at the W/R split and ending up on the walk !
Chicken Fucker had Ben 10, Ball Ringer, Gangreen, and Whore in the Window virgin Bob in (who I think will be a great addition to PH3).
Singing Granny sang the hares song in French followed by the Hash Hymn to close an excellent circle.
