Correcting Run Records Policy

To encourage hashers, and hash virgins, to take responsibility for ensuring they have received proper run credit, the deadline for reporting missed runs will be Thursday evening following a run. As run stats are posted to the website by noon of the Tuesday following the run, hashers will have 2 1/2 days to review the run stats to confirm they've received credit for the run just held.

The reason for the Thursday deadline is we close out the run accounts and run records for a run on Friday mornings. Corrections entered before Friday help ensure we have an accurate accounting of the run.

It is hoped with this policy in place the number of hashers that pay the signup fee and walk away before having their name marked off on the signup list will be reduced. This will also eliminate the cases where a hasher comes to us weeks, months, or even years later asking to correct a missed run in the records.

Missed runs can be reported via email to the Webmaster.

"Who prefers meeting in the forest on Christmas Day instead of sitting home and having a meal and a couple of drinks? Hashers, that’s who! Over one hundred stalwart Hashers attended PH3 on a warm winter day, anticipating a good trail from the experienced Hares (Sexy Mountain, Mayo Queen and Sperm Polluter with Casper unable to attend at the last moment).

The trail took us along a narrow, winding ruvulet with an even narrower path for feet. Once my shoes were wet and muddy, I joined a few others who took the plunge into the water and it was easier going than on the path. There were many low branches for us to clamber through and the shorter Hashers had an advantage in the thickets. The trail then took us up a few hills and my phone App tells me we had an elevation gain of 1136 metres. The Hares had told us it was about 8km for the long and 4km for the short trails. I measured a little over 6km and I’m told the short was a little over 3km. Maybe there is a reason this phone was so cheap. Everyone returned safely with Mayo Queen sweeping the trail.

Back at the 'A' site we were treated to a delicious chicken and vegetable dinner, complete with mashed potato and gravy prepared by Dragon and sponsored by the Hares. Scar with 2T's prepared his Christmas GLUG according to his grandma's secret recipe and this was very popular. As a club we are very fortunate to have generous and willing workers.

Hash crashes saw Keep the Change, My Girlfriend Knows I’m Gay, Scar with 2T’s and Shy Tiger receiving awards. Shy Tiger was looking back on the trail to see how far behind Herring Choker was and fell. Naughty, naughty Herring Choker. It then became apparent that being GM carried with it ‘immunity from blame’ as he iced Milky Piss and Crap Thai for leaving HHH signs behind on previous Hashes (when it was the GM who supplied, placed and failed to collect the signs).

The circle reported enjoying the trail very much, apart from the amount of sand and gravel collected in the watery parts. RA Scar asked the circle who did not know the difference between Swedish people and Norwegians? Window Wanker said he didn’t know and entered the bucket as his reward for being honest. Bitter Balls (former Dutch Navy) had told Scar that Norwegian sailors were always drunk. BB attempted to disagree and you guessed it, he ended up in the bucket.

The arrival of a local Thai man (apparently the land owner) provided some light heartedness as he enjoyed a beer or 3 and wandered through the circle shaking hands. We had a few visitors and returnees who all sang the praises of the PH3. It’s through the efforts of the Committee and our members that PH3 runs smoothly and attracts the numbers it does.

In closing, the stalwart Hashers that chose not to stay home, hit the jackpot by having a trail, great food, drinks, banter and lots of laughter amongst like minded friends.
