Hares' Song

An original number to the tune of Wellerman-Sea Shanty
composed by our Acting GM for the Day Fleece Fucker
and accompanied by the other Hares
Verse 1
There once was a trail that was laid in the mud,
Led by three fine hares with a thirst for the blood,
Fleecy and Seal Sucker set out the white,
With Dragon behind them no where in sight
<Chorus>
Soon may the hashers come.
To drink down the beer and the sangsom rum.
One day, when the trailing is done.
We'll take our beer and go.
Verse 2
Old Fleecy was lost and his knee was in pain,
Complaining of blisters and cursing the rain,
While Seal Sucker tried to design a good check.
But he's never broken one so how the damn heck
Verse 3
The pack was all scattered and lost in the dark.
Chasing false trails but nothing was marked,
No paper in sight and the beer truck was cold,
A sad bloody story of young and of old.
Verse 4
They finally stumbled in covered in sweat,
The grimiest pack that you ever could get,
With Fleecy and Seal Sucker pouring the brew,
And Dragon demanding a down-down or two.
Verse 5
So raise up your vessels and shout for the three.
The best pack of hares in the hash company.
For Fleecy, Seal Sucker, and Dragon so neat,
We'll drink to the trails that they laid in the heat.
